Fees mentioned above are per person and include 5% VAT.
Fees mentioned above are inclusive of internet usage. Electricity is not included in the fee.
Deposit and first semester fee is payable in order to reserve your place. All fees paid are non-refundable.
ARUCAD DORMITORY 2026-2027 GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. I acknowledge and declare that the Dormitory registration covers 1 (one) Academic Year (2 (two) Academic Terms – both Fall & Spring semesters) specified in the Arkın University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) 2026- 2027 Academic Calendar.
2. I accept and declare that in case of canceling my registration from the university before the end of the Academic Year, freezing my registration, and/or voluntarily moving and/or changing of mind including not entering the Dormitory at all upon arrival from the Dormitory to another residency/property, I will pay the full annual fee specified for my Dormitory.
3. I accept and declare that I am responsible for the supply of providing my own personal belongings such as slippers, towels, soap, shampoo, pillows, duvets, sheets, duvet covers, kitchen utensils, etc. that I will use during my one year stay in the Dormitory.
4. I accept and declare that I am fully responsible for the use and payment of all electricity the pre-paid top up card system during my stay at the Dormitory. Any loss or damage caused to the key card will be my responsibly and I am fully aware that I will pay for the replacement of the pre-paid top-up card(s).
5. I accept and declare that I will comply with the Dormitory Management, Disciplinary Directive, Dormitory Rules and all the articles written above. If I do not comply, the Dormitory Management may vacate the room I stay in without prior notice and I will not be refunded any of my paid Dormitory fees. Additionally, I will be liable to pay the full 2026-2027 academic year dormitory fee of 3400 €.
6. The 340 € dormitory deposit fee is refundable to the student if no damages or debt have been accrued during the one year stay
ARUCAD DORMITORY 2026-2027 PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. I acknowledge and declare that to make a pre-reservation for a place in the dormitory for the 2026-2027 academic year, I have to pay a total pre-reservation fee of 680 €. This fee includes a 340€ deposit and 340€ one-month dormitory fee in advance. Please note that all fees payable is non-refundable.

2. I accept and declare that my dormitory reservation will be valid for 24 hours only once submitting the booking form. It will be my responsibility to prepare and deliver the documents requested by me/my representative during this process. Should I be unable to fulfil the given criteria, my reservation will automatically be cancelled without any prior notice.

3. I acknowledge and declare that in order to finalize my dormitory reservation I must pay the remaining Fall 2026 semester fee of 1410 € in full by 14th August 2026 at the very latest.

4. I acknowledge and declare that if this fee is not paid by 14th August 2026 Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) will cancel my pre-reservation automatically and any fees paid to the University will be non- refundable under any circumstances.

5. I acknowledge and declare in the circumstance that I do not pay the total semester fee by 14th August 2026 at the very latest to ensure that payment is made and payment receipt is sent to acknowledged by the University Dormitory Manager.

6. I agree that my place in the Dormitory will be cancelled and automatically offered to the next waiting student without any notice if remaining payment of 1410 € (totaling 2090 € for the Fall 26 semester) is not made and sent to be confirm with ARUCAD by the by 14th August 2026 at the very latest.

7. I acknowledge and declare that after I have paid full Fall 2026 fee of 2090 € for my dormitory in advance, this will not be refunded in any given circumstances; such as changing of mind or voluntarily giving up my Dormitory, not completing University or course registration process to the university, visa denial (340 € deposit fee non-refundable and any bank transfer fee charges applicable are payable by student), non-arrival to Northern Cyprus cancellation, etc.

8. I acknowledge and agree that the placement of students in rooms is conducted according to the order of students who have completed their reservation and registration process; and that my room reservation will not be changed at a later stage upon my own request.

ARUCAD Dormitory Shared Room Rules
In order to maintain order, peace, and mutual respect in shared dormitory rooms, it is important to comply with the following rules.
1. Noise Control
Especially during night-time hours, care should be taken to maintain silence, and phone conversations and media use should be conducted in a way that does not disturb others.
2. Cleanliness of Shared Areas
Shared spaces (such as desks, closets, bathrooms, etc.) must be kept clean and orderly. Personal belongings should be stored in a way that does not create clutter in these areas.
3. Respect for Personal Belongings
Personal Belongings of roommates must not be used without permission. If needed, permission must always be requested beforehand.

4. Sleep and Lighting Arrangements
Roommates’ rest hours should be respected. Use of lights and noise during late hours must be kept to a minimum.
5. Sharing of Common Expenses
A fair and regular sharing system should be maintained for the provision of cleaning supplies and similar shared necessities.
6. Communication and Problem Solving
Any issues that may arise should be resolved in a timely manner through constructive and respectful communication.
7. Mutual Respect and Understanding
Different lifestyles and individual preferences should be respected and a shared living culture should be adopted.
8. Arrangement of Belongings and Order
The placement of items in the room should be determined by mutual agreement. No changes should be made without permission.
9. Compliance with Hygiene Rules
Attention should be paid to personal hygiene rules and behaviors that may cause unpleasant odors or an unhealthy environment should be avoided.
10. Food and Beverage Arrangements
Food waste consumed in the room should not be left standing. Perishable foods must be stored properly.
11. Use of Electronic Devices
Electronic devices (such as computers, speakers, etc.) must be used safely and in a way that does not disturb others.

12. Sharing of Responsibilities
Tasks such as cleaning and maintaining order should be shared, and each individual must fulfill their own responsibilities.
13. Storage of Personal Belongings
Valuable items should be stored securely and should not be left in shared areas in a way that may inconvenience others.

14. Smoking, Alcohol, and Other Rules
In dormitory the use of smoking and alcohol is strictly prohibited. Violations of disciplinary rules may result in warnings or even dismissal from the dormitory.
15. Discipline and Sanctions
Students who violate these rules may be subject to warnings, reprimands, or dismissal from the dormitory. Continuous incompatibility and behaviours that disrupt room order are subject to disciplinary proceedings.
16. Conflict Situations
Problems between roommates should first be resolved through mutual communication. If the issue cannot be resolved, the dormitory administration should be consulted.
The dormitory administration has only two options regarding the matter:
• A mutual room exchange between students in another double room (provided that each room continues to accommodate two people and approval from the dormitory administration is obtained).
(This is limited to once per semester.)
• If available, transfer to a single room, provided that the student pays the single-room fee.

In cases of incompatibility, the dormitory administration does not have any solution other than two specified options above.

ARUCAD DORMITORY RULES
1. I will not occupy other places and items ARUCAD Dormitory from the room, bed, wardrobe, table, chair, etc., allocated by the ARUCAD Dormitory Hall Management,

2. I will not accept guests in any places other than those places determined by the ARUCAD Dormitory Management (even if s/he is a student of ARUCAD),

3. I will not accommodate anyone in my room as a boarder,

4. I will not damage walls, doors or fixtures in ARUCAD Dormitory Buildings by writing, drawing signs and shapes, and if I cause such, I will reimburse the damages at the cost at the time the damage was caused,

5. I will not keep or use alcoholic beverages, drugs and stimulants in ARUCAD Dormitory buildings or surroundings, also, I will not use cigarettes, tobacco, etc. products in the room,

6. I will not engage in games defined as gambling, nor will have tools and equipment used in gambling,

7. I will not hang immoral posters in my room or ARUCAD Dormitory,

8. I will not keep odorous fluids and perishable food in the clothes cabinets,

9. I will not engage in rude and disrespectful behavior in my relationships with people, I will keep my environment clean, not make excessive noise nor play music or watch TV in a manner that discomforts others nor play any musical instruments and sing in a similar manner,

10. I will comply with general etiquette, keep my ARUCAD Dormitory room and other ARUCAD Dormitory sections clean and tidy,

11. I will not feed animals, even if they are domestic pets in the ARUCAD Dormitory,

12. I will avoid any crimes that can be committed by means of a computer, and I will not try to hack into nor damage anyone's computer,

13. I will not interfere in the work and affairs of the ARUCAD Dormitory Staff and I will treat them with respect,

14. I will show my University Student ID Card to University Staff or Security Guards whenever requested,

15. I am aware that if I am absent for a total of 15 days without reason in a semester my registration will be suspended, and thus I will not be absent without reason,

16. if the ARUCAD Dormitory is closed for either the semester breaks or other long holidays or for any other reason, I will stay in the allocated Dormitory,

17. I will enter the ARUCAD Dormitory no earlier than three days before the beginning of the study period and will leave the ARUCAD Dormitory no later than three days after the end of the study period,

18. I will not receive a refund of the ARUCAD Dormitory if I am suspended from the ARUCAD Dormitory,

19. The balances of electricity that I have used at ARUCAD Dormitory and have not paid on time, as well as damage to fixed assets and similar expenses, will be deducted from my deposit after the calculations are made, and if my deposit is not sufficient, the balance will be requested from me,

20. I accept and undertake that I am aware that if I do not comply with the rules stated above and in the Regulations of the University where I am registered, disciplinary action will be taken against me by the ARUCAD Dormitory Management and I may be removed from the Dormitory as a result of this process, and that I am also aware of the fact that I can also be sanctioned by the Student Disciplinary Board of the University where I am registered.
